A Thought Made into an Action

Everyone talks about the issues that the next generation will have with person to person communication due to texting, facebook, blogs (such as this one), the internet in general, video games, television, the quick accessibility of electronic information and the decreasing need for human interaction on a daily basis. This worries me, of course, but what I was thinking about tonight was not only the lack of person to person communication but the lack of pure life enjoyment that goes with it. Blogs are for reflecting, facebook is for organizing, television is only for spending time with my family or friends, and texting is only when calling is not possible. A July 15th resolution. 

Today

I love you and I haven’t met you. I love you and I’ve known you forever. I love you both differently, but both unconditionally. You are beautiful. 

Celebrate Each Person For Everything That Person Is

To “accept” a person is simply to say that you choose not to discriminate against a person. To accept the differences is very different than to celebrate them. I celebrate what makes us different. 

You are perfect, you are beautiful, you are real, and your truths are true for you as mine are true for me. I celebrate your existence; everything that makes you different and everything that makes you similar and everything that makes you the same. Having everything about you in my life gives my life just a little more meaning. I am thankful, and I love you for you!
